GoodeThoughts: Reflections from Edward Goode, pastor at the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming (Ohio)

About

I am a thirty-six year old Christian, husband, father, pastor, sports fan, tech geek, and avid movie fan (to name a few things).

I began my journey of faith in my family’s Lutheran church as I grew up, but it truly became my own journey in October of 1990. As I grew in my faith, God led me from the University of Colorado following graduation to Tucson, Arizona to the jungles of Belize and eventually to Princeton Seminary to Sioux Falls, South Dakota and now to Wyoming, Ohio.

I met my wife in seminary and she currently serves as a chaplain at a local hospital. She and I love to get out (when we are able to secure a babysitter for our three kids), see movies, golf, and simply enjoy being together.

Our three children keep us busy virtually all the time it seems. Our house is filled with a continuous amount of energy, sound, laughter (and sometimes crying). They are an incredible blessing in our lives and we thank God for every moment we share as a family.

When I am not doing the primary parts of my life (husband, father, & pastor), I am often playing around on my computer, reading, watching movies, or (not as frequently as I would like) playing golf.
